What is Nutrition Town Hall?
Nutrition Town Hall is a weekly hour-long meeting that allows you to gain support
and learn new information to help maintain or achieve health through optimal
nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.
Origins
Nutrition Town Hall was founded by Nutritionist Robert Crayhon as an
outreach to help serve those who could not afford a visit with a nutritionist.
Often, those who can’t afford individualized nutrition care need it the
most. Education about optimal nutrition and lifestyle is needed by nearly everyone
to help address the current health crises in America. It is Robert’s belief
that this life-changing and life-saving information must be available for free
to everyone.

There
is no philosophy promulgated by Nutrition Town Hall other
than the belief that we are all biochemically unique. If
there is one book that sums up the philosophy of Nutrition
Town Hall, it is Roger Williams’ book Biochemical
Individuality. Nutrition Town Hall does not favor
high carbohydrate, low carbohydrate, omnivore or vegetarian
diets: it supports them all. Also, Nutrition Town Hall
is not affiliated with any religion or religious group,
multi-level marketing company, or any other company, and
has no agenda other than helping everyone achieve optimal
health and reversing our current health crisis. It should
also be stated that all people of all religious and cultural
backgrounds and well as those with any specific
dietary restrictions and disabilities are welcome to attend.

Group support is also essential for helping to achieve our health
goals. We may read in a book or magazine about an approach
to weight loss or managing our cholesterol, but how well can we
stick with our program? Nutrition Town Hall allows us to
get the group support we need along with the guidance of a degreed
nutritionist—devoid of any program fees or dues—in
order to achieve our health goals, no matter what they may be.
Diabetes, heart disease and obesity are at epidemic levels, and
conditions such as cancer and Alzheimer’s disease are at
alarmingly high rates. Nutrition Town Hall meetings seek to unite
Americans and create a sense of community where we all help each
other to seek optimal health, our best defense against any ailment.
The information shared at Nutrition Town Hall meetings is not meant
to substitute for medical care, nor is it intended to diagnose,
treat, or cure any disease. Yet working together, and supporting
one another, and sharing important preventive and therapeutic nutrition
and lifestyle information, we will be able to keep all of ourselves
motivated to take care of ourselves in the light of the latest
research and with the support of the friends who support our journey
toward health on every level.
