"Kbiit (Courage)" This fast-paced documentary chronicles the birth of East Timor,
the first nation of the third millennium. The story is told
through the eyes and feelings of Olandina Alves, the first woman
activist in the country. The documentary also chronicles the
presence of the international peacekeeping forces in the territory
and the re-building of the infrastructure and the rule of law. As
the Timorese look into the future, they endeavor to overcome the
traumatic memories of the violence and burnings that happened during
