Magnetic Acupuncture by constitutional medicine Meridian system In our body meridian system which western medicine do not approve yet exists. Meridian is not visible system like digestive system, respiratory system or endocrine system etc. but meridian controls those visible systems because it is higher than those system. Therefore without understanding meridian we hardly say we understand our body. Meridian system which is revealed by thousands years experience of clinical is divided by 12 main meridians and 2 extra meridians as following table.
Meridians divided by Yin and Yang meridians. Yin meridian controls inside of the body, and yang meridian controls outside of the body. Lung, Pericardium, Heart, Large Intestine, Triple Burner and Small Intestine control upper body and Spleen, Liver, Kidney, Stomach, Gall Bladder, Urinary Bladder control lower body. All parts of body belongs to one of the meridian channels and are controled by it. Diseases are occurred by blocking of energy circulation of the channels. For instance blocking of stomach channel can make digestive problem and we may feel heat or cold in the face. And we may feel pain in knees and it will be arthritis. Then if we can control energy streaming of stomach channel, those symptoms will be disappeared. Magnetic therapy To make energy streaming in the channels fluently oriental medicine has been using remedies like massage, acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, herbal, magnetic and movement etc. Even each remedies has its own effect, acupuncture is most useful among them. How can acupuncture needles control the energy streaming of the body? Its modality is Push & Pull Treatment as following.
We can control energy streaming of the body by using magnetic energy. How can we use magnetic energy for treatment. The principle of magnetic therapy is as folowing.
As the above picture magnetic energy streams from North to South. Therefore if we put North of magnetic on the body energy streaming of the channel will be inhibited, on the other hand if we put South of magnetic on the body energy streaming of the channel will be stimulated. One prescription in magnetic therapy is composed by 4 acupuncture points those are 2 inhibition and 2 stimulation points. Therefore one prescription of Acupuncture by Constitutional Medicine is composed by 4 acupuncture needles or magnetic pieces. Treatment Acupuncture by Constitution Medicine(ACM) is different from Acupuncture by Traditional Chinese Medicine(ATM) in regards to their philosophy. Comparing to ATM which selects acupuncture points by patients symptom, ACM selects by patients' physical constitution types. However ACM also considers symptom after deciding their types. Therefore even same disease acupuncture points selected by ACM are much different from ATM. Following is prescription(acupuncture points) of NP LIA types.
In the above table N, S means stimulating(S) and inhibiting(N) of the energy streaming of that meridian, but North and South of magnetic direction when using magnetics instead of acupuncture needles. Following is meridians' name and their abbreviations used above table.
