My friend Joel and I attended the OOW class on 6/15/07 at the Tracy Airport. It was way more fun than I could have ever imagined and we've got some video & photos to show for it:

We're certainly more confident with our wheelie abilities after taking the class.

I attended your On One Wheel School this past week (NJ Aug/25/2006) and I wanted to say thank you for an awesome experience! Everything was very well planned out and executed through out the day. Results are immediate and you learn one step at a time, minimizing all fear of flipping the bike over.

My instructors were Shaun and Nick and I must say they are the reason why I am pulling controlled wheelies effortlessly on my 2006 Speed Triple. Their instruction was both motivational and easy to follow. The fundamentals of doing a wheelie that you learn at the school is what is paramount to your success on the street. I now have a consistent and repeatable process for pulling wheelies thanks to On One Wheel! I can't wait to come back for the advanced session using my own Triple.

P.M.

David - Thanks to all of you for a great school. I had a great time. James and AC really made me feel comfortable doing wheelies and be the end of the day I walked away feeling really good about standing it up. I have already told many of me friends about the class and would recommend it to anyone who rides and really wants to do something different. I would never have believed you could really teach this stuff. Enclosed is a photo of one of the wheelies.

Everything was very well thought out coffee to instruction. The detail of instruction was excellent and every step was methodical and helpful in the end result of riding a wheelie at the balance point.

Regards,
Tony Bosworth

How can I thank you for a fantastic day at Pomona? Send me some flyers for On One Wheel and I will place them at Air Combat and the Cable airport flight school.

These are the guys I went riding with and most of them were in awe of my "small wheelies!" (public roads and all). I will let them know about your school on the "Forum" (www.af1racing.com)...discussions.

Your advance school was great, Good coaching,Very friendly and enthusiastic crew. You have a winner of a school.

Bruce and I wanted to say thank you very much for the school experience yesterday!!! It was absolutely amazing!!!!!!!

The entire day was perfect! I can’t think of one thing I would change. And the team that ran the program was fantastic, Tim in particular was a great instructor and you can see that he and the other guys truly enjoy what they do and it shows!

We both learned a lot and look forward to another wheelie school soon!!!!

PS- is there still spots on the Saturday August 13th date????????

Chip

Just a note to tell you that Travis had a great time yesterday at the Solano Co Fairgrounds. The day was full of excitement, in fact, I've never seen him so charged up. By the end of the day he was shifting to second gear during the wheelie!!!

The instructors were very impressive, and I'll be happily recommending the school to all who will listen. Anyway, the day was fantastic, thank you!

John

I remember when I took the wheelie course, it was one of the best experiences I had ever had on my motorcycle. Furthermore, now I would like to go on to taking the track course with your guys. If you could please forward me some information on the course along with the dates and locations; that would be great. I hope to hear from you soon I am super excited to get on track(pun).

Doing wheelies is frivolous, decadent, and lots of fun.

I had never done an intentional wheelie in my life 'til I took the one-day Keith code wheelie class. At the end of the day, I was comfortable popping wheelies and balancing the bike on the back wheel for a while.

I told my SWMBO that it was a safety course, and, in a way, it was. Now, if/when the front wheel gets reeeeal light while, um, briskly accelerating from a light, I don't feel nervous and chop the throttle -- I'm comfortable with it.

Thank you so much for all your help, and yes, even though I was only able to do one day on the course, it was fantastic, by the end of the day I was able to pull balance point wheelies.......... simply awesome.

Cheers
Chris L

I just attended your school at the Solano County Fairgrounds. I just wanted to say that I got alot out of the class, I am doing wheelies at will for any length on my own bike now without a problem. The instructor was awesome, and a pretty cool guy also. I ended the day feeling like I had been doing wheelies for a long time. Feel free to put that on your comments page for future students to read. If you ever want to have a school in Colorado please consider me for an instructor. I feel like I could do what your instructor did for me and my classmates to get others up On One Wheel.

Thanks, and keep UP the good work.

Just finished school on last weekend. I have to say kudos to everyone involved, Especially you Whitney for your great organizational skills and S.K for his good teaching technique. Stu and the other two Steves great job.Thank you for your courteous friendly manner. Looking forward to the pics.

Thanks again, Ron M.

Thank you, Whitney! Those pictures of me were from a few weeks after the class. After a couple of weeks on my own bike I am now able to ride out 1st and 2nd gear wheelies.

Thanks again for the cool class!

Gary

Just wanted to send you a quick note --

The class last weekend was a blast. I think that it was quite well organized and ran without a hitch. Riding time was pretty well maximized and in all honesty by the end of the day I was pretty whipped and really couldn't have ridden much longer even if I wanted to.

I went out riding my own bike last night and noticed a significant improvement in my ability to carry the front wheel with more height than I could before the class. The best part was that by riding the wheelie bike and feeling how high you can go before hitting the wheelie bar, I'm now much more comfortable on my bike and have better control as a result!

Excellent job --

P.S. My riding buddies in the Midwest are begging for this class! Milan dragway is very near Detroit and would be a great venue.

Last weekend I attended the two day Superbike School at Willow Springs and then the one day Wheelie School. It was one of the most exciting and enjoyable weekends I can remember.

I do not live for my motorcycle like many of the more enthusiastic younger students I met, but as Keith says, "I like to amuse myself going through corners as fast as I think humans should on motorcycles".

I was somewhat apprehensive about attending the schools because I am 57 years old and thought that I would be of little interest to the young instructors who would prefer and probably feel more comfortable interacting with students closer to their own age. Instead, I was treated with a great deal of enthusiasm by my instructors. In fact, I mentioned that to the instructoe at the Wheelie School and his comments to me were that "people like me really got the instructors stoked up". That they thought it was fantastic that someone my age was interested in doing this and secondly my participation confirmed in his mind that he could be enjoying motorcycles for many years to come.

On the subject of the Wheelie School, we started a course at 8:00 in the morning but it was raining. Rather than cancel the school, the instructors waited around until about 1:00 in the afternoon when the track dried up and then stayed with us through to 8:00 in the evening so that we could get a full day in. I thought that dedication and effort on their part was commendable.

All in all, because of the excellent treatment I received from your staff and the tremendous improvement in my riding skills and confidence, I will be back next year for levels III and IV and I will be back for a second day of wheelie training to learn how to shift gears while in a wheelie.

I can't end the letter without mentioning the energy and friendliness of Judy and Whitney, who seem to me to be holding the whole affair together.

Regards, Rob G.

I’ve been on the road the past week or so and I’m finally back to my computer. I just wanted to say thanks again to the whole staff at On One Wheel. That was a really fun time. I still have room for improvement but it sure inspired me to go beyond my natural limitations. Good luck with future classes. My wife and I already bought one of Mr. Code’s books and are planning to attend the cornering school sometime soon.

Thanks again,
Banks (proud On One Wheel graduate) A.

I enjoyed the class (4/03) and was impressed with the instructors,Steve and Tim they were on top of it at all times and paid close attention to all the riders. I`d like to make the 6/13 course but it`s tuff living in Alaska, but ya never know. But now that I have taken the course I would like one of the on one wheel Ts. Thanks

Your advanced wheelie course was just what I needed to really take my skills to the next level. The instruction was top notch, and just the right amount. I would recommend this training for anyone trying to take what they learned at wheelie school, and apply it safely and effectively on their own bike.

Kindest Regards,
Shane C.

I wanted to send a short note of appreciation for all the help you gave John and I this last week.

It turned into a great "extended" weekend thanks to you. Although I'll never be a wheelie king, and I never really expected to be one, we had a blast running up and down the track all day in semi-sunny southern California (it was 17 degrees when we landed back in Chicago - yikes!).

Anyways... thanks again.

Jeff R.

Excellent! ... Thanks for the Incredible experience at the Pomona Wheelie School. Such a deal. Learning to do wheelies and doing it on the famous Pomona Drag strip. Thanks to my instructor James Toohey who obviously enjoyed the progress I made,... the revelations I realized from his tutoring. Wheel stands Smile factor, is a 10!

Again, all of your crew did a great job and I had a GREAT day. I was making plans for attending your Super Bike School when I saw the link to the Wheelie School. I figured, Hell, instant gratification as I had been chickening out on learning myself. A very good choice on my part. Instant fun and a technical basis for improving on my own.

I will be signing up in the near future for Willow Springs.

Again Thanks.

Craig R.

Many many thanks to Keith Code and the staff of the wheelie school my son and I were at orange county on at your wheelie school and words won't work to express the pure joy and thrill. I'm 46 and wheelies have been in my blood all my life. I have Domokos bible and Rothwell t-shirts over 30 years have passed since I've wheelied like that. To pick up 3 decades later on the speed triple I was fighting tears when the instructor raised the bar and I wheelied the distance. When my "monkey see, monkey do" son (with a little experience wheelying a xr200 but a total artist on a bicycle) began to do wheelies the length of the course my heart was pounding 2 ways. Please give Keith Code this message and my heart felt thanks. I'll be back.

I had a good time & I was amazed at the cross section of the riders that showed up. The instructor helped me by showing technique and giving pointers. The main thing was showing me to be consistent. I know how to wheelie & shift through the gears now.

I want you to know how much the class I took on June 27 did for me.

I was a terrible starter on my Aprilia RS250, because of my fear of flipping over. I was always at the back going into turn 1.

Well, after taking your school, in my next race, I was SECOND going into turn 1, and I finished in third place!

I would like to take the class again, if not this fall, then early next year. I hope you continue to hold the school in the N.Y. metro area.

Ron B.

I just want to thank you for Wheelie day. I had a terrific time and I was able to reach my goal of wheelieing the bike to balance point and keeping it there :-)

The instructor team was the best. A class act!

I made quite a lot of new friends too. I call them my wheelie buddies.

Again Much thanks Whitney, I will definitely recommend the school for putting a huge smile on my face!!!!!

-Alberto

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed my wheelie class! The weather turned out great, the instructor and the other students were a hoot and the lil lime green Triumph was a blast! I really can’t remember when I had so much fun! I don’t know if you knew this but, I had to drive ten hours one way just to get from Tennessee to Florida, where my class was held, and I gotta tell ya it was only worth… every miserable minute I spent in the car gettin there! I’d do it again in a skinny minute! In fact, I might sign up for the fall class in Atlanta. That’s how much fun it was! I guess you can tell from all the exclamation marks that I sorta had fun! Our instructor was as cool as a cucumber, took his time with everyone, even those of us who were uh…somewhat older, and actually molded us into Wheelie Monsters. That’s right…we’re ruined for anything but wheelies now! The system you guys have works! I mean it works goooood! I went into this thinking I might actually get it up, so to speak, by the end of the day, but the gradual learning curve and, of course, the little thingy on the back of the bike virtually removed all the fear factor so I had it up much sooner than that, maybe even by lunch, which by the way was excellent. I developed a friendly rivalry with another student and from about lunchtime until the end of the day it was more about how long we could keep it up rather than if we could get it up. As a matter of fact I made the last run of the day and it was a sweet one I tell ya! It was the longest of anyone in the class, probably half the length of the track. Some of us were actually changing gears by the end of the day. So everything you told me about the class was right on. My advice for anyone thinking of taking the class? I say do it! It’s well worth the price of admission and you will never have so much fun! Thanks again.

Sincerely,
Mark (you can call me “Dangerboy”) H.

I attended Wheelie School a couple of weeks ago. It was a full day of wheelies and it was a blast. I highly recommend it. You can find them at www.ononewheel.com. Every time I get one right, I go back in time and become younger... ok, I'm exaggerating, but it feels great!

The Speed Triple is the right bike for this and the staff is first class.

Hope everyone is doing very well. Hope to see you guys soon.
Jorge
