Global Custody Corporate Actions Administrator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified individual for a Global Custody Corporate Actions Administrator to process corporate actions in numerous global markets (tracking, reporting, collection, execution, and distribution).  Responsible for collection of related information as well as maintenance of the department’s official control and records

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for processing all corporate action activity on global custody system.
• Researches information on new corporate actions.
• Prepares corporate action notifications for client distribution.
• Responsible for research and resolution of all customer inquiries.
• Reconciliation of cash and security position balances.
• Calculates client position entitlements for all corporate action activity.
• Maintain relationships with sub-custodians worldwide

Knowledge/Skills:
• Operations experience with some or all in global custody.
• Knowledge of finance fundamentals and mathematics.
• Experience with Global Plus for Windows a Plus

 

Domestic Settlements Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
C
lears settled securities transactions.
Enters transactions into PTS and CitiDirect (Citibank's custody platform).
Enters trades into Global Plus for US and European based customers.
Pre-matching - specifically ID affirmation.
Reconciles daily activity.
Updates and maintains customer and management reporting.
Researches and resolves inquiries from customers.


Knowledge/Skills:

Bachelors degree or equivalent; business or finance preferred.
Operations experience in domestic settlements.
Knowledge of securities operations, custody products and trading scenarios.
Reconciliation skills - Position and Cash Proofs.

 

Senior Analyst: Fixed Income Department

Location: New York City

Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

Originates new transactions of investment grade corporate products, monitors individual credits, and manages assigned portfolio.  Prepares necessary applications and credit reviews. 

Proposes investment strategy for investment grade corporate products and assists senior officers / management to explore and develop new types of corporate investment products.

Maintains and monitors records and generate required reports to headquarters, credit departments or any other relevant parties.

Generates account review reports in timely manner for corporate credit portfolio.

Makes suggestions to immediate manager that may contribute to the securing of new business and/or service improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent in business or economics with 2+ years of related experience., Credit Training.

Understands the importance of compliance issues in the execution of daily activities. Ensures compliance in daily work and may be responsible for training subordinates.

Knowledge of capital market products and other credit products in general.

Credit analysis skills

Quantitative skills to analyze performance in a portfolio basis.

 

Sub-Custodian Account Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Sub-Custodian Network Analyst to join a Global Custody Network Management department to monitor sub-custodian's service and performance, resolve issues, contract negotiations, participate in RFP process and act as database backup.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the handling of escalation issues
2. Investigation of new securities markets
3. Organization of relevant market information to be presented to customers
4. Assist in the sub-custodian performance evaluation
5. Liaison between bank and sub-custodian
6. Assist in various contract negotiations
7. Assist in the investigation and selection of new sub-custodians (RFP Review)
8. Create procedures for new markets
9. Maintenance and enhancement of databases
10. MIS reporting



Knowledge/Skills:

A bachelors degree or equivalent in business or economics preferred
One - two years securities industry experience. Global network management experience preferred.
Broad knowledge of global markets.

 

Global Settlements Senior Officer

Position Overview:

Officer Level Position in Global Custody Settlements department of an International Banking firm. Reporting to the VP of Custody Services; will be responsible for the daily management and continuing development of Junior Officers and Administrators.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
¤Clears settled securities, cash and corporate action transactions.
¤Trade and cash transactions entries, mostly corrections and adjustments.
¤Update and maintain customer and management reporting.
¤Research and resolve securities fails.
¤Research and resolve inquiries from the parent company.
¤Assists in training and support of Custody Settlement staff.

Qualifications:
Direct experience in Global Settlements.
Ideal Candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of securities operations and global custody products.
Strong reconciliation skills.
Bachelors degree preferred.

Domestic Corporate Actions Administrator

Will be responsible for all facets of corporate actions in regard to U.S. assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for processing all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions (stock splits, stock dividends, spin-offs, exchanges, mergers, tenders, consents, etc.)  on global custody accounting system.
- Processes client elections/instructions on voluntary corporate actions through the Depository Trust Company Participant Terminal System.
- Responsible for accurate reporting and timely distribution of customer pre-notifications.
- Reconciles and researches cash and security discrepancies resulting from corporate action activity.
- Verifies the validity of incoming data from various outside vendors.
- Assists in the research and resolution of customer inquiries.
- Responsible for preparation, control and payment of broker claims.


Knowledge/Skills:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years experience in corporate actions processing.
- Knowledge of DTC PTS terminal functionality.
- Strong math and data entry skills.
- Knowledge of Global Plus preferable.
