Michiko
Sudo, M.S., L.Ac., LL.M., B.Phar.

Michiko was born and grew up in Tokyo, Japan,
which is situated adjacent to old cities such as Kyoto and Nara,
where she founded the spiritual basis for her healing practice.
With the clear life mission - offering her deepest love and compassion
for healing and empowerment of others, she has been engaging
herself for over 20 years in healing of individuals as well as
national and international communities in health and social justice.
Based on her intensive training in healing and spirituality, Michiko
has developed her own unique integrative healing system combining
with Acupuncture Oriental Medicine, Chinese Herbs, Healing Diet-Nutrition,
Feng Shui, Reiki – Energy Healing, Meditation and Spiritual
Counseling.
To date, she has studied with many spiritual masters, healers
and practitioners, including Master Zhi Gang Sha, MD, from China
for spiritual & Energy healing; Paul Mitchell in Idaho for
Usui Style Reiki; and Master Healer Ken Kobayashi from Japan for
acupuncture and Chinese/Japanese herbal remedy. She has also received
various healing training, including Acupuncture, Herbal Remedy,
Reiki, Jin Shin Jutsu (Japanese hands-on healing art), Shiatsu,
King Solomon Healing technique with the 7th Mystery School, as
well as movement such as Yoga, Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
She is a national board certified - New York State licensed acupuncturist;
and nationally licensed pharmacist/herbalist in Japan. She is also
Reiki Master and certified Feng Shui consultant. She is a member
of the Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY) and a member of The
Japan Kampo Association (Nihon Kampo Kyokai). She is also a lawyer
specializing in international law.
Previously, she was an official of the United Nations for over
10 years and supported its international humanitarian activities
in developing countries. In the capacity of an international human
rights lawyer, she promoted social justice and human rights as
a healing tool for communities in the area of the health of women
and children.
She has received a Master of Science (M.S.)
in Acupuncture from the Albany College of Acupuncture,
New York; Master in Law (LL.M.) from the University of Texas,
United Kingdom; Master in Law (LL.M.) and Bachelor in Law (LL.B.)
from the University of Tokyo, Japan; and Bachelor in pharmacology
(B.Phar.) from Kobe Pharmaceutical University, Japan.
She is the author of numerous publications and articles in the
field of human rights and social justice and is currently writing
on healing and spirituality.
